I certainly agree with you about the joy of music. As you have already discovered, talented musicians is what we want. I had the same experience with listening to a band called “Old Salt Union”- a Nu-Grass type of music(new blue glass) We went early and dropped in on their show so that we could get a great seat for the next band. I have only seen #OldSaltUnion once, but WOW- They exploded on the stage with an lively performance. At the end of their set, people were literally throwing money on the stage for them to continue. (never saw that before) I will review the list later and let you know what I am focusing until we get the list. Check out Liz Longley, Chris Stills, Jeff Black, Shawn Mullins, Kim Richey and Steve Poltz (most energy ever) for sure. Friends suggested War and Treaty and I am looking forward to their performance. Thanks for the Dark Water suggestion. Grill Man and I were talking about adding them to our list.

Americana probably leads us to festivals like this, but we enjoy following many different types of music. (Before seeing Ron Howards 2019 film on Pavarotti, I used to think we enjoyed all music but opera. After that, can honestly say that we enjoy it all. )

As with #30aSongwritersFestival they will probably post a couple of weeks before the event. I assuming that it is a mountainous task to nail down the artists travel schedules and develop the event schedule. Until they post the official schedule, I use this time to review the music of the artists that I am not familiar with. By the time the schedule is posted, you will have a better idea of how to arrange your schedule. We start with our favorites and work down from there. In 2019, all of the artists at the #OpelikaSongwritersFestival were very talented. I am super excited about the additional artists added. What kind of music do you like?
